Rather than inheriting an established operation, you'll play a leading role in creating it.
The Opportunity:
As Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the site becomes a world-class manufacturing environment capable of supporting the production, assembly and testing of advanced spacecraft.
From cleanrooms and critical infrastructure through to utilities, contractors, health & safety and long-term maintenance strategies, you'll have responsibility for creating an environment where engineering teams can do their very best work.
This isn't simply a facilities role.
It's an opportunity to influence how one of the industry's most exciting manufacturing sites is built, operated and continually improved.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll oversee every aspect of facility operations including:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of a modern aerospace manufacturing facility.
- Leading preventative and corrective maintenance programmes.
- Managing HVAC, cleanroom environments, utilities and critical building infrastructure.
- Working closely with engineering, production and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Managing contractors, vendors and service providers.
- Supporting the ongoing expansion of the facility as production scales.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Developing maintenance strategies, budgets and long-term capital improvement plans.
- Driving continuous improvement across facilities and infrastructure.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
You'll probably come from one of the following industries:
- Space.
- Aerospace.
- Defence.
- Semiconductor Manufacturing.
- Medical Devices.
- Advanced Electronics.
- High-Tech Manufacturing.
You'll understand what it takes to operate highly controlled manufacturing environments where reliability, quality and precision are absolutely critical.
Experience managing cleanrooms, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), MEP services, contractors and capital projects will be highly valued.

- Salary range $130,000 - $170,000 subject to experience. We are also open to increasing this further for the perfect candidate.
