About Our Client:
Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing European space technology company developing advanced solutions for the next generation of satellite missions.
Working at the intersection of space, AI and edge computing, their technology enables satellites to process data directly in orbit, helping spacecraft become smarter, faster and increasingly autonomous.
As the company continues to scale and its technology is deployed across increasingly complex missions, they are looking for an experienced Product Assurance Engineer to join their team in Brno.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to take real ownership of Product Assurance within a fast-moving NewSpace environment, working closely with engineering teams throughout the complete development lifecycle.
You’ll help ensure that hardware and software meet the quality, reliability and assurance standards required for spaceflight.
Rather than simply policing processes, you’ll work alongside engineering teams to identify risks early, solve problems and make sure products are genuinely ready to fly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own Product Assurance activities across space projects and programmes
- Ensure compliance with relevant ECSS standards and customer requirements
- Support project reviews throughout the development lifecycle
- Oversee verification, validation and qualification activities
- Manage NCRs, RFDs and RFWs
- Support FMEA/FMECA and risk-management activities
- Work closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve quality or reliability issues
- Support supplier and subcontractor assurance activities
- Ensure appropriate PA documentation, traceability and configuration control
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Product Assurance processes as the company scales
What We’re Looking For:
- You’ll ideally have 4+ years of experience within Product Assurance, Quality Assurance or a closely related discipline within the space industry.
- Experience with ECSS standards and working across the lifecycle of spacecraft, satellite subsystems, payloads or other flight hardware/software would be particularly valuable.
- Most importantly, our client is looking for someone comfortable working in a fast-moving environment who can combine strong Product Assurance knowledge with a pragmatic engineering mindset.
Why Consider It?
You’ll be joining a growing European space business working at the intersection of satellites, AI and edge computing, with the opportunity to have genuine influence over Product Assurance as the company scales.
The position is based in Brno, Czech Republic, a major European technology and engineering hub offering an excellent quality of life, lower living costs than many Western European cities and easy access to Prague, Vienna and Bratislava.
